ISO 9000+ Standards
Quality Management, Quality Assurance & Continual Improvement
The ISO 9000 family provides a globally recognized framework for understanding, establishing and improving quality management within organizations. It includes the foundational concepts and vocabulary of quality management, requirements for a Quality Management System, and supporting guidance for organizations seeking sustained success and continual improvement. The family is built around seven quality-management principles, including customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management. These principles provide the conceptual foundation for the standards in the family and help organizations establish a consistent approach to managing quality.
